The most famous of them is the Azteca stadium. Two of the five teams from Mexico's capital are playing in this arena with a total capacity of 101000. One of them is the Club America better known as "Las Aguilas" (The Eagles). The second team is called Atlante a lot smaller and less popular one.

For my trip with my colleagues I choose the game America against Atlas the second team from Guadalajara. The game was part of the Leguilla Aperatura 2006. The eagles already had won the first of two games by 1:3 and so we did not arrive with high expectations.

Supporter of the "Aguilas"In the first half Atlas was the better team and scored three goals in a raw. The away supporters went crazy but the rest of the crowed were quite depressed. This score meant that America would not qualify for the next round.
Fighting back in the second half America scored three goals and turned the game around. At the end we had seen a very good game and experienced the great atmosphere of the Azteca and its supporters.
